Srinivas Tangirala (Tangi) is a seasoned technology leader with over three decades of experience in the global IT industry, spanning diverse domains and technologies. Currently, Srinivas leads Pilabz in its mission to build a cutting-edge, SaaS-based CAD platform for multi-domain modeling and simulation. Drawing from his strong foundation in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering, as well as deep expertise in developing advanced 2D/3D engineering visualization tools, he is spearheading the creation of next-generation engineering solutions. His core strengths lie in end-to-end product lifecycle management—including market strategy, product architecture, team leadership, and customer engagement.

With over 35 years of experience in instrumentation, control systems, medical electronics, embedded systems and application software, RK is a seasoned leader in the technology and engineering space. Currently, as the Head of Instrumentation Development at Pilabz, he drives the company’s mission to deliver cutting-edge electromechanical solutions, grounded in rigorous systems understanding, modeling, simulation, and continuous improvement. RK has led technology teams across multiple sectors, from smart farming and irrigation to software products. Prior to Pilabz, he was Chief Technology Officer at a company pioneering smart farming technologies and previously led innovation in a software products firm. A prolific inventor, RK holds five patents in medical technology, including advancements in portable therapy devices, transdermal analyte detection, and active drug delivery systems—solutions that are both innovative and practical. Beyond his professional accomplishments, RK is a passionate HAM radio enthusiast, a certified scuba diver, and enjoys the thrill of paragliding, embracing both adventure and continuous personal growth.
